About Us

Sharukh Vazifdar has led the Rewards / Compensation & Benefits verticals at Alkem Laboratories, Godrej Properties, Boehringer Ingelheim (India), and Mattr (Canada) and has worked in the Rewards team at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and as an HR Head at Godrej Investment Advisers. With over 11 years of experience, he is familiar with pharmaceutical, real estate, private equity, and engineering sectors.

 

Sharukh has led compensation revision and workforce planning exercises for large organizations comprising 12,000 employees. He has catered to a global workforce spanning 4,000 employees across 24 countries. He has designed, launched, and administered short-term and long-term incentive programs including ESOPs. He has led benefits programs and has a keen involvement in administration of the same. Sharukh understands HR information system architecture and workings in detail and has led various module implementations on SuccessFactors and certain customized platforms. He has participated and commissioned various benchmarking exercises on compensation, benefits, HR practices, and executive compensation. He has a thorough understanding of job evaluation and grading, having led several such exercises across organizations. He has also designed and led workforce planning exercises across organizations and has led major organizational restructuring projects.

 

Sharukh also has hands-on experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, talent and performance management, and employee relations in his roles as HR business partner and HR head. He has 6 years of people management experience.

 

Sharukh has been teaching as a guest lecturer at his alma matter, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, since 2016 and has also taken an entire course on Advanced Compensation at NMIMS, Mumbai. Apart from rediscovering how practice follows theory, he finds the teaching experience deeply fulfilling and enriching.
